Garlic-Parmesan Cottage Cheese Bagels

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Extra Parmesan cheese for topping

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the cottage cheese, eggs, olive oil, minced garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  6. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and shape each into a ball.
  7. Poke a hole through the center of each ball with your finger and stretch gently to form a bagel shape.
  8. Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
