Cranberry Pecan Cheese Ball

🧈 Ingredients:

2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

½ cup dried cranberries (plus extra for coating)

½ cup toasted pecans, chopped (plus extra for coating)

2 tbsp honey or maple syrup

½ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp salt

2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional, for a savory twist)

Crackers or sliced baguette, for serving

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

Mix the filling:
In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, cranberries, pecans, honey, garlic powder, and salt. Mix until well blended.

Shape the ball:
Transfer the mixture onto plastic wrap and shape it into a ball. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to overnight) to firm up.

Prepare the coating:
On a plate, mix extra chopped pecans and dried cranberries together. Roll the chilled cheese ball in the mixture until evenly coated.
