My grandma used to cook this, and I feared the recipe was lost. Thankfully, I stumbled upon it, and it’s tastier than ever!

Ingredients:

Peach Pudding Base:

5 cups diced peaches (peeled, fresh or frozen)

1 cup granulated sugar

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup whole milk

4 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp sea salt

Luscious Topping:

3 tbsp unsalted butter

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

3 cups water

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Steps to Peachy Perfection:

Warm up your oven to 400°F. Ready a 9×13 baking dish with a light greasing.

Merge the diced peaches, flour, sugar, milk, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until everything comes together.

For the topping: melt butter in a saucepan. Introduce the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and water. Allow a gentle boil until the sugar melts in.

Shift the peach base into your baking dish.

Slowly cascade the topping mixture over the base, keeping the spoon and whisk away.

Bake in the oven until you see a golden crust forming and sense that delightful bubbly feel – roughly 50 minutes.

Once out of the oven, allow a cooling moment. Spoon out the warm Tennessee Peach Pudding and consider dressing it up with some vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or even a cool whip dollop. Dive into a taste that’s reminiscent of Southern summers.
